Overview
As the Director of Clinical Operations, you’ll lead our home health nursing teams and ensure outstanding clinical care is delivered with consistency and compliance. This leadership role oversees all aspects of care delivery, staff development, and operational strategy, setting the tone for excellence across the agency’s clinical services.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Clinical Strategy & Direction
Guide and support clinical managers, RNs, and allied professionals to uphold best practices.
Develop policies, procedures, and training that align with regulatory standards and patient needs.
Represent the clinical department in leadership discussions, driving agency-wide improvements.
Regulatory & Quality Oversight
Maintain compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, state rules, and accreditation standards.
Oversee chart audits, clinical documentation review, and response to quality indicators.
Lead quality improvement efforts, including incident reviews and performance tracking.
Team Building & Mentorship
Recruit and onboard top clinical talent.
Offer coaching and performance evaluations to encourage growth and retention.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Operational Leadership
Coordinate care planning with admin departments to streamline patient services.
Monitor utilization, staff schedules, and outcome data to meet performance goals.
Serve as a resource for escalated clinical concerns and complex care planning.
Qualifications
Active Missouri RN license
At least 1 year of leadership experience in a home health setting
In-depth understanding of interdisciplinary care models and home health compliance
Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage clinical operations at scale
